Our large national, multi-billion-dollar client is adding a newly created Accounting Manager – AP/AR role to its Chicago-area team. This is an opportunity to step into a visible leadership position and help shape the future of core accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related support functions.

The right leader will not only manage processes but also focus on developing and growing a team in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor supervisors and teams across AP, AR, and Operations Personnel.
• Build and develop talent — leadership and people development are top priorities.
• Partner with HR and senior leadership on hiring, performance, and staff growth.
• Drive process improvements, audit support, and KPI monitoring.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of AP/Accounting/GL experience.
• Proven success managing people and processes.
• Strong track record of team development and leadership.
• ERP system experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
