Job Description

Candidates for this role must have law firm experience.

Prestigious, international law firm is seeking a new Business Development Specialist to join their busy and growing NYC Business Development team. You will work closely with the firm's top attorneys and clients handling all sales and marketing initiatives. If you are driven by reaching new markets and identifying trends this will be the perfect opportunity for you!

About the job:

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
  • Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
  • Pitching services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Development
  • 3+ years' of sales or account management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Socially adept
  • Good with numbers
  • Able to provide quality leadership to a large team of sales people
  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
