Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Chemist I to join our Bulk Reagent Formulation team within the manufacturing division. This role is ideal for recent graduates with academic lab experience and a strong foundation in chemistry. The Chemist I will be responsible for preparing reagents, testing antibodies and antigens, and supporting quality processes in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare reagents for ELISA, calibrators, and controls.
Purify antibodies and test various biomolecules.
Perform standard wet bench techniques (e.g., titrations, pH measurements).
Interact and collaborate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams.
Maintain accurate documentation including batch records and SOPs.
Support compliance with GMP standards and internal protocols.
Qualifications
Associate degree with 1–2 years of laboratory experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field (fresh graduates welcome).
Familiarity with laboratory instruments and techniques, including pH meters, titrations, and general wet chemistry.
Basic understanding of analytical methods and documentation standards.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.
Prior exposure to GMP practices and quality systems.
Demonstrated leadership and strong written documentation skills.
