Job Summary:

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for overseeing strategic community engagement and customer growth initiatives in each region. This position will work closely with local operational leadership and the corporate Marketing team to deliver on i3 Broadband’s mission and objectives. The Community Engagement Specialist will work as a liaison between the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure success in the region’s marketing and sales efforts

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example to model the i3 core values and customer service philosophy.
  • Plan, manage and execute community outreach and community events.
  • Order and manage the region’s marketing collateral in accordance with the region’s budget.
  • Work with municipalities to secure appropriate authorizations and permits, where necessary, for community events.
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively articulate complex situations to colleagues and customers with varying degrees of technical knowledge.

  • Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable solving problems and driving issues to resolution, even with the right course of action is not immediately clear.

  • Ability and interest to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing technology environment, effectively dealing with multiple projects, stress, conflict, coaching, and monitoring the performance of direct reports.
  • Responsible and self-motivated.
  • Delight in providing excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience:
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Two or more years in a sales or marketing role preferred.
