POSITION SUMMARY:

The Creative Production Manager assists as a critical support mechanism for all project work that flows through Redline Media Group’s Creative Department. This role is responsible for monitoring and tracking the production on all projects that funnel through the Creative Team from Account Managers, while supporting the Creative Production Director. This includes communicating with Account Managers, Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, Director of Client Services, Jr. Art Directors/Art Directors and designers. He/she will also assist in updating the active project list throughout each business day, running weekly traffic and daily project status reports to maximize efficiency and communication to the Creative Team and working collaboratively with Account Managers and Art Directors to ensure the timely completion of all creative projects. In addition, this position will independently create effective, high quality, and well-designed print/digital collateral utilizing photography, vector graphics, and pre-approved artwork with a focus on clean typography and layout composition. The Creative Production Manager must have a strong design background with great communication skills and be a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on punctuality, efficiency & accuracy. He/she should have an elaborate understanding of creative agency processes, including but not limited to managing deadlines, maintaining brand standards, reviewing/approving designer submissions in accordance with client requests and to make sure final content is print/press or digital spec ready.

RESPONSIBIILITIES:

· Works with the internal team to prioritize projects and ensure all projects remain accurate and on deadline.

· Maintains a list of all current projects and their respective status.

· Update project list throughout the day.

· Send updated project list to Account Managers and Art Directors.

· Track tasks throughout the creative process.

· Maintains thorough knowledge of where each project stands in the development process, updating status reports and project timelines, where necessary.

· Independently develops initial creative projects of high quality, and well-designed print/digital pieces utilizing a variety of art elements, font styles and techniques, which display a good sense of design, color and composition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field.

· 10-15 years of experience working in a corporate creative department and/or agency.

· Working knowledge of the creative process and general creative workflow.

· Familiarity with marketing, advertising and branding principles and practices.

· Ability to manage multiple assignments of varying complexities, meet tight deadlines; work well under pressure.

· Extremely thorough and able to work well in cross-functional situations.

· Strong, attention to detail, with proofreading skills at a high level of accuracy.

· Strong project management, organizational and creative thinking skills. Strong PC/Windows and MS Office skills.

· Strong skills in agility, along with ability to pivot easily when directions and priorities change on short notice.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email and phones.

· Must be highly organized, SELF-START attention to detail, assertive, flexible and able to prioritize own workload.
