Development Campaign Coordinator - Position : Direct Hire
- Salary : $65,000+/annually
- Location : South Orange, NJ
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Job Purpose As a key member of the Development/Marketing team, the Campaign Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director, Director of Development, Volunteer Campaign leadership, and Campaign Consultants to ensure that the Capital Campaign plan and all activities associated with the Campaign lead to the Campaign's financial success.
Responsibilities Planning: •Collaborate with Executive Director, Director of Development, and
Campaign Counsel to prepare a realistic Campaign Plan and
timeline.
•Align Campaign activities with annual Development Calendar to
ensure seamless integration of Campaign activities into the annual
Development efforts.
•Assist in qualifying prospect research of prospective Campaign
leadership donors.
•Coordinate the editing, design, and printing of final Campaign Case
for Support.
Implementation of Campaign Plan: •Coordinate Campaign leadership schedules for Campaign meetings
and donor solicitations.
•Arrange meetings with prospective donors via email and phone calls
based on the schedules of Campaign leadership and Counsel.
•Prepare all materials for Campaign Committee meetings and
Campaign prospect meetings.
•Prepare for and execute Campaign-focused receptions and
gatherings.
•Provide support to Campaign Counsel and work with
Development/Marketing Team to develop and execute a
a communications strategy that includes the incorporation of Campaign
information on company website, social media, and milestone
press releases to local and regional media outlets.
Essential Functions •Oversee the execution of final Campaign Case for Support.
•Handle scheduling, planning and execution of Campaign-related
events and meetings.
•Write and manage Campaign-related correspondence and
gift/pledge acknowledgments (written and digital).
•Serve as company liaison to Campaign Counsel.
•Input gifts and pledges in donor database.
•Conduct monthly gift and pledge reconciliation with the Business
office and Development Team.
•Track and maintain Campaign progress
•Generate gift and Campaign activity reports for Executive
Director, Director of Development, Campaign Leadership and
Counsel.
Competencies •Protect/respect confidentiality of donor information.
•Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
•Experience working with donors, board members and agency
leadership.
•Demonstrated ability to follow through on assignments.
•Proficient in multiple computer applications including WORD,
EXCEL, Outlook, PowerPoint.
•Experience working intimately with donor database.
•Willingness to collaborate/strong team player ethics

Work Experience Requirement •Minimum of 5 years' consistent experience of nonprofit development
employment with focus on providing support to Capital Campaigns,
working and communicating with donors and board members.
•Possesses high level of experience and comfort with donor database
(i.e., Raisers Edge, etapestry, SalesForce, Donor Perfect or other
donor database).
•Comfort and experience interacting with donors and board level
leadership.
•Experience with the development of donor correspondence and
confidential reports with donor/gift giving histories.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Per Year PrideStaff
