Position Details:Day Shift Hours: 4 - 10 hour shifts per week (7am-5:30pm) with rotating days off, and Saturday Rotation (approximately once a month- 8 hr shift 0730-1600 with additional day off during week)Closed on SUNDAYS and all major holidays!!!No after-hours call that is requiredBJH CDL South and BJH CDL CAM Performs complex transthoracic echocardiography exams at various locations (inpatient and outpatient) throughout academic campus.We utilize primarily GE equipment with newer GE E95 machines, PICOM Imaging/Reporting system, EPICThe Cardiac Diagnostic Laboratory at Barnes-Jewish Hospital is partnered with Washington University School of Medicine to provide state-of-the art multi-modality echocardiographic imaging. ResponsibilitiesPerforms complex echocardiography exams at various locations throughout academic campus.Evaluates all aspects of cardiovascular patient clinical assessment for cardiac conditions and recognizes abnormalities.Reviews and correlates relevant patient history, including corrective procedures, surgeries, etc. Applies independent clinical judgement during exam to ensure appropriate anatomical, pathophysiology and clinical conditions are captured in examination images.Acquires advanced modalities as trained to include 3D, right heart strain, TAPSE, PISA. Transcatheter pre/post valvular repair/replacement, HOCM etcCommunicates with healthcare team for collaboration of care.
