In our one-on-one ABA setting, you'll work directly with children (ages 18 months to 8 years) utilizing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a supportive center-based environment. What You'll Be Doing as a Behavior Therapist: Implement ABA Therapy: Provide individualized support and guidance to children with Autism by following treatment plans, collecting data, and integrating feedback from supervisors. Foster Development: Engage children in fun and stimulating therapeutic activities to support their growth during early childhood. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team to enhance treatment effectiveness, ensure safety, and maintain a positive atmosphere. Engage Through Play: Actively participate in playful interactions that captivate children's attention and promote joyful experiences. Communicate Effectively: Maintain positive interactions with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities and celebrate achievements. Job Requirements: Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move children (up to 30 lbs), bend, squat, and move quickly to engage with kids. Maintain Therapy Environment: Ensure therapy spaces are organized, tidy, and conducive to a stimulating experience for children. Multitasking Ability: Effectively manage multiple tasks and decisions while prioritizing safety. Team Support: Collaborate cohesively with teams across centers as needed. Transportation: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by finishing a 40-hour training curriculum, passing competency assessments, and registering for the exam. Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education: Associates/High School: $16.20 - $23.50 Bachelor's: $17.50 - $27.00 Master's: $19.00 - $28.00 Your first raise is earned upon RBT certification, typically within 21 days.
