JOB PURPOSE:
The Executive Director Pharmacy – Infusion Operations will lead and grow Infusion Pharmacy Services in Georgia with long-term goal for expansion into North and South Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of patient care through leadership, operational excellence, exceptional customer service and strategic vision. The leader is responsible for both strengthening existing customer relationships and building new referral sources. Collaborates with Vice President, Directors, and Clinical Managers to coordinate and implement clinical activities within the pharmacy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand and enhance infusion pharmacy in the community setting.
• Foster relationships with healthcare systems, payers, and community partners to identify growth opportunities.
• Guide division and advise leadership of infusion industry trends and regulatory changes to position the organization for success.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless delivery of infusion services in the communities we serve.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, including CMS, state and federal requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of clinical, operational, and administrative professionals.
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to support organizational goals.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate payer contracts to optimize reimbursement and reduce financial risk.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery and patient satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and payers to address concerns and optimize care.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5-10 years of management experience
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensure as Registered Pharmacist
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)
Prior infusion management experience is preferred
