Role Description We’re looking for a Head of Field Engineering to lead and scale our Sales Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams, playing a critical role in driving pre-sales excellence and post-sales success. You will oversee the entire technical customer journey—from initial engagement to long-term value realization—and collaborate with Sales, Product, and GTM leaders to deliver technical strategies, demos, and enablement programs for Enterprise and Strategic customers. Main Responsibilities Lead the pre-sales team to deliver compelling technical value to prospective customers. Partner with Product to build and maintain high-impact demos tailored for technical buyers. Enable Sales Engineering teams to effectively position Galileo to various technical personas. Drive efficient, outcome-driven pilot programs with customizations based on buyer personas. Design and implement customer journeys for Enterprise and Strategic accounts. Develop customer enablement programs including onsite workshops, presentation decks, and proactive value strategies. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of experience leading pre-sales and post-sales engineering teams in high-growth SaaS or AI/Data companies. Proven ability to lead technical teams serving Enterprise and Strategic accounts. Strong technical background, ideally with a degree in Engineering or related field. Deep understanding of technical buyer evaluation and enablement needs. Experience in scalable customer enablement and pilot frameworks. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Preferred Qualifications Background in generative AI, data platforms, or developer tools. Experience leading hybrid teams and collaborating across functions.
