Job Description

Overview:

Are you skilled in HRIS operations and passionate about ensuring accurate and efficient HR processes? Thompson Hospitality is looking for an HRIS Specialist and take charge of managing critical HRIS functions and supporting diverse HR operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Process new hires in the HRIS system UKG and monitor background check progress

  • Track and audit background checks monthly via Proforma/AccuSource

  • Manage and enter employee status changes in the system

  • Handle password resets and user access issues

  • Set up direct deposit, ADP access, and Money Network (MN) cards for employees

  • Complete verification of employment requests

  • Provide support during weekend coverage email rotations

  • Follow up on Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) submissions and compile quarterly reports

  • Respond to and resolve HR system-related Zendesk tickets

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with HRIS platforms (ADP experience strongly preferred)

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Customer service mindset with the ability to support a fast-paced HR team
