The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services, seeks a qualified professional for the role of Human Resources Associate in Cook. This role involves para-professional duties within the Personnel Services Cook unit, including gathering, reviewing, and certifying employee timekeeping records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform para-professional duties for the Division of Child Support Services
  • Gather information and prepare correspondence, forms, records, and employee bid lists
  • Review and submit timekeeping records
  • Review CMS 104s for accuracy and update organizational charts
  • Process Merit Compensation increases
  • Monitor employee performance evaluation files
  • Manage contracts for contractual employees
  • Perform additional duties within scope as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of two years of college or approved training
  • Ability to keyboard accurately at 30 wpm

Conditions of Employment

  • Pass a national background check due to access to confidential federal tax info
  • Maintain and utilize state-issued equipment such as a laptop

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
