Join to apply for the IT Director - SAP role at Georgia Pacific . Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking an IT Director to lead the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana ERP for our Building Products businesses. The role involves leading the Order to Cash and Planning & Scheduling areas, collaborating with order management, operations, and supply chain teams to develop end-to-end processes within the ERP, customer experience systems, and analytics platforms to enable business transformation. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT leadership experience, a track record of delivering value-based solutions, and knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution along with general SAP end-to-end commercial business processes. You will lead or be part of a matrixed, cross-functional team, using influence and leadership skills to create value for stakeholders. Our Team Georgia-Pacific's IT department supports and advances company operations by leveraging innovative technologies, focusing on continuous learning, collaboration, and Principle Based Management to maximize value for the organization and stakeholders. What You Will Do Lead the SAP Order to Cash team and oversee IBP and Production Scheduling. Act as the primary liaison between Plan to Make functional areas and business leadership. Develop and motivate the functional team, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions, prioritize requirements, and participate in design, testing, and operations. Provide guidance on SAP domain to internal teams and external partners. Manage SAP technology, connected applications, interfaces, and middleware supporting order to cash. Clarify strategy, scope, and capabilities, securing commitments and maintaining accountability. Assist in decision-making for technology solutions, including strategy and cost/benefit analysis. Support deployment and cutover planning, review specifications, and system configurations. Demonstrate ownership, leadership, initiative, and urgency in a fast-paced environment. Exhibit excellent communication skills. Basic Qualifications Experience with SAP implementation, support, and management, including methodologies, configurations, integrations, data, security, change management, training, and communications. Proven ability to define technology strategy, lead teams, and build stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of Order to Cash business processes within S/4 Hana. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Vistex, Ortec, Advanced ATP, and customer experience platforms. In-depth knowledge of SAP modules beyond Sales and Distribution.
