Java Developer/Back End/ Trading Platform Development Hybrid/NYC 1 Year+ Candidates must me local to the New York or New Jersey area and commute into the city three times a week in Midtown, NYC. Certifications? Job Description: • Minimum 10 years of etrading software development, pricing, and order execution strategies. Fixed income/Rates experience strongly preferred, especially on bond analytics, treasury note and futures.

• 10+ years of hands-on development experience in Java technologies multi-threading
• Strong expertise in messaging technologies such as Solace, JMS, Kafka etc.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices and APIs/ Ability to design and develop scalable solutions which are easy to maintain and support.
• Knowledge of SDLC and prior experience working on large software development projects.
• Previous experience developing Electronic Trading systems is a plus.
• SQL skills
• Familiar with FIX protocol
• Ability to work in a fast paced, energetic, and entrepreneurial work environment.
