Check out a day in the life with Interstates: Responsibilities - Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduit
- Overseeing, or participating in, wire installations with conduit & cable tray
- Connecting power to equipment
- The ability to lead/develop up to 4 apprentice electricians
- Knowledge of other construction trades
- Ability to stand, walk ,and lift up to 100 lbs in construction work environment
- Ability to climb, and maintain balance, on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools
- May be exposed to high and precarious places
- Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications Education/Experience: We are looking for electricians with experience using, or the desire to learn, the latest BIM/VDC technologies for pre-planning and on-site coordination of all our projects.
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Kansas State issued Journeyman Electrician License Required (NCCER does not qualify as a state license)

Location and Travel This is a permanent/full-time position with Interstates and requires traveling to job sites
within the Kansas Region .
Applicants must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license.
Per diem pay and mileage stipends applicable per company policy.
