We have recently promoted our existing Treatment Coordinator and are looking for Ms. or Mr. Right to contribute their dental knowledge, skills and passion to take on the role!

About us: We are Tamal Vista Family Dentistry, the office of Dr. James McDowell, Dr. Dan Scott and Dr. Chris Bayer , in downtown San Rafael. We are a general and cosmetic dentistry practice who loves to build long lasting connections with our patients, ages 3-103+! This full-time position is 38 hours/week and comes with competitive pay and a great benefits package.

Familiar with dental insurance

Ability to multitask

Comfortable with providing patient education and building value in the importance of dental treatment and periodontal health

Team oriented individual who collaborates with others to reach the best possible outcome of a job or task

Job Duties:

Answer phones with a smile

Greet patients as if they were a guest in your home

Check patient in/out and schedule appointments

Verifying patients insurance benefits/eligibility

Present Treatment Plans

Negotiate financial arrangements including third party financing

Fill openings in doctors and hygiene schedules

Track and follow up on delayed/unscheduled treatment and hygiene recare

Collect/calculate co-pays

Assist hygiene team with Full Mouth Probing

Various other front office tasks as assigned
