Position Summary

Our factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. We also do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. Situated just 25 miles from the factory, the city of Lincoln offers convenience to many of our associates who prefer the amenities of larger city living. They embrace the short commute from Lincoln to the quainter city of Crete, where our factory thrives.

As the Maintenance Supervisor (Facilities), you’ll oversee teams performing maintenance of water distribution, wastewater, boilers, air compressors, building, and grounds. As a vital member of our team, you’ll spearhead programs, empower associates through engaging training on procedures, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe and compliant environment. You’ll play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture by maintaining employee records related to time, attendance, training, and more, ultimately contributing to an engaged and high-performing team.

Schedule: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm CST (over-time and some weekend work expected)

Supervise facilities personnel in performance in their work and procurement of parts and materials while ensuring all duties are performed safely, abiding by safety rules and policies
Use SAP AMM maintenance management system to look up parts, inventory, work orders, and view maintenance plans
Accountable for all applicable governmental legislated requirements such as EPA, FDA, and OSHA
Maintain maintenance shift report log and ensure accuracy and completion of all assigned work
Fill in for maintenance scheduler
Uphold hourly work requirements by designated zoned areas, conduct weekly meetings and record keeping
Actively participate in Nestle Purina programs and initiatives

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years of facilities/ utilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production or military environment
1+ years of people leadership experience

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,000.00 to $106,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
