We are an established company in business for over 85+ years and we are looking for a  Market Trade Assistant to join us on  Long Island and assist with our executive brokerage accounts!

The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude who wants to work and grow within a company where dedication and good work ethic can lead to great opportunity! Candidate should be a team player who also thrives in a fast-paced environment and be a master at multitasking and prioritizing.

Primary functions :

· Managing daily activity to tie out monthly brokerage accounts.

· Candidate must “tick and tie” out transactions such as dividends and holdings

· Tracking cost basis of securities and sales

· Tracking capital gains and losses, etc

· Well versed in general mathematics

· Support and provide administrative support to a trading executive which includes memos, letters, general correspondence, data entry, creation of files, etc

· Create and maintain schedules in excel

Qualifications & Skills:

· Experience with Bloomberg, google sheets, excel, LIVE VOL, outlook, word, various interactive broker trading platforms,

· Relevant experience

· Must be proficient with basic Microsoft office software (excel, word, outlook)

· Extremely detail oriented

· Has a passion for the stock market and interest in how it works,

· Should have a background in the stock market, accounting, bookkeeping, or a financial administrative area in the market field

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM – 4 PM, will also be off on any days when the market is closed.
