Job Description
Total Care Pharmacy We are currently looking for experienced, energetic, detailed oriented Patient Services Representatives to respond to email and chat inquiries in our Call Center. Qualified individuals must possess excellent writing skills, have the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and have strong problem solving skills. To provide exceptional customer service via email and live chat.
Responsibilities:
Email Support
1. Respond to patient emails regarding medical billing inquiries and concerns.
2. Resolve billing issues promptly and professionally.
3. Provide accurate information on billing, insurance, and payment options.
Live Chat Support
1. Engage with patients via live chat, addressing billing questions and concerns.
2. Utilize knowledge base and resources to provide accurate information.
3. Troubleshoot billing issues and escalate complex concerns.
Customer Service
1. Provide empathetic and personalized support to patients.
2. Address patient concerns and resolve issues promptly.
3. Educate patients on billing processes and insurance options.
Data Entry and Record-Keeping
1. Accurately update patient records and billing information.
2. Document patient interactions and resolutions.
Requirements:
1. 1+ year of customer service experience in medical billing or healthcare.
2. Knowledge of medical billing processes and insurance regulations.
3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
4. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or Certified Billing Specialist (CBS).
2. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software.
3. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
