**Job Title: Medical Device Assembler - 1st Shift - $22-24/hr** **Job Description** Join our team as an Assembler on the 1st Shift, where you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily within a clean room environment. This position involves the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production using microscopes, and operation of various equipment and machinery. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery to produce medical devices according to specifications. + Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update job documentation for traceability. + Prepare products for packaging and sterilization. + Inspect products using microscopes. + Ensure compliance with GMPs, and set up coating machines. + Coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters. + Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations. + Test formulations and package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods. + Identify supplies that need replenishing. + Build components needed for top-level Work Orders. + Complete cleaning activities as required. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in English at a medium level. + Comfortable standing for the entire shift. + Willingness to work overtime. + Comfortable working with chemicals. + Experience with microscope inspection is preferred. + 1+ year of experience in medical device manufacturing, ideally with microscope usage. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent education. + Familiarity with cleanroom procedures, including gowning and de-gowning. + Experience in pharmaceutical, aseptic, and formulation processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and growing team with a promising future as we work towards FDA approval for our product in the US next year. The position includes two 30-minute breaks: one off the clock for lunch and one on the clock, instead of the typical two 10-minute breaks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
