A National sports brand is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their partnership strategy team for 1+ year contract opportunity. The Partnership Marketing Coordinator supports the Global Partnership Solutions team by creating compelling, insight-driven materials used to pitch and grow sponsorship opportunities across various basketball leagues and properties. This role focuses on brand storytelling and sales enablement, helping translate fan insights and marketing objectives into strategic partnership platforms for both prospective and existing sponsors.
Develop and support the creation of customized, on-brand sponsorship opportunities for new business and current partners
Translate fan research and audience insights into actionable marketing concepts and partnership platforms
Participate in and help document cross-functional brainstorms, contributing to the ideation of creative partnership solutions
Assist with the global coordination and tracking of partner assets and benefits
Identify opportunities for enhancement of sales materials and assist in their development and updates throughout the season
Communicate with internal teams to ensure opportunities are properly vetted, refined, and presented
Collaborate across departments to align sales strategies and maintain consistent messaging
Stay informed on brand marketing, sponsorship, and sports industry trends
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly translate marketing strategies into compelling presentations
Skilled in brand storytelling, with a strong grasp of marketing, branding, and business language
Ability to understand and respond to partner objectives based on brand identity, marketing challenges, and audience targeting
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills
Experience analyzing, interpreting, and packaging consumer insights from both syndicated and custom research sources
Collaborative mindset with a desire to work in a cross-functional team environment
Prior experience in an advertising/creative agency or in brand marketing is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
