Job Overview


In this role, you will be responsible for using earned channels to drive an increase in T-Mobile network perceptions. You will work closely with senior leaders to define strategies, develop plans, and achieve measurable results, using data and insights to drive our narrative. You are both a strategic and creative problem solver with excellent follow-through skills and a bias towards action. Lastly, you have the ability to translate sophisticated network technology into understandable content for a variety of audiences including consumers and business users.


** This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA; Overland Park, KS, or Frisco, TX **

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement impactful PR plans that will drive positive T-Mobile network perceptions.
  • Translate technical details of wireless networks into accessible, impactful content.
  • Use earned media and other non-paid channels to disseminate content to target audiences.
  • Apply data and research to make strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders to align strategies and achieve measurable results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in PR or marketing with earned media experience
  • Experience supporting wireless or network technology, including advanced or new technologies in 5G
  • Keen understanding of what makes news and drives headlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse audience groups
  • Understanding of how visual elements can be used to communicate a message
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude
  • Flexible and creative in approach
  • Diligent, and quality-focused
  • Phenomenal teammate who doesn’t take it all too seriously

Base Pay Range: $88,900 - $160,400

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
