Purpose: The psychiatric provider will provide behavioral health care services to both children and adults in an integrated care center. Qualifications : Psychiatric nurse practitioner Masters or Doctorate degree or graduated from accredited physician assistant program with at minimum 3 years post graduate experience in psychiatry. Self-disciplined, energetic, passionate, innovative Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required Leadership and organizational skills essential Bilingual especially in Spanish is preferred, but not required Computer literate preferred Demonstrate sound judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills Knowledge of medical office practices, procedures and equipment Knowledge of problem-oriented record keeping Correct English usage, spelling and grammar Confidence to communicate and outreach to other community healthcare organizations and personnel Knowledge of community resources Must possess nurse practitioner registration in NYS, which must be unrestricted, current, complete, and active "Supportive environments, strong teams, and fulfilling purpose at TCC" The Chautauqua Center (TCC), a Community Health Center, is located on the border of Pennsylvania and Buffalo, NY centered in wine country, master breweries, more than 5 local lakes, and home of Lucille Ball and the National Comedy Center.
