Company Overview Red 6 is an innovative Augmented Reality (AR) technology startup leading the way in synthetic air combat training. Our primary technology, supporting our ATARS product, enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying while accessing realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments.
Job Summary We’re looking for a proactive and highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to join our fast-moving Talent Team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring a seamless candidate experience and supporting our recruiters and hiring managers across all stages of the recruiting process.
Key Responsibilities - Interview Scheduling: Coordinate and confirm interviews across time zones for candidates and interviewers, managing calendars with precision and flexibility.
- Candidate Experience: Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, providing clear communication, timely updates, and a white-glove experience throughout the process.
- ATS Management Support: Partner with recruiters to maintain and update candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data cleanliness and process consistency.
- Operational Support: Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to move candidates through the pipeline efficiently—prepare interview packets, collect feedback, and track hiring milestones.
- Offer Coordination: Support the preparation and delivery of offer letters and pre-employment logistics, including background checks and onboarding kickoff.
- Process Optimization: Help document and improve recruiting processes, templates, and workflows to keep our hiring engine running smoothly.
- Special Projects: Assist with recruitment marketing, sourcing support, DEI initiatives, and event coordination as needed.
What We’re Looking For - 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR coordination, or administrative support (tech/startup/defense industry experience a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working with scheduling tools, ATS platforms (we use Ashby), and Microsoft Office
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to pivot quickly
- Passion for creating a great candidate and hiring team experience
- Interest in defense tech and/or mission-driven work is a bonus
- Qualified candidates must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
