Position Overview:
As the Refugee Cash Assistance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) Program. Your primary responsibility will be to assess eligibility for RCA and conduct comprehensive evaluations of each recipient’s job readiness needs, strengths, and barriers. You’ll work collaboratively with refugees and partner agencies to connect them with the resources they need for a successful transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine initial and ongoing eligibility for the RCA program.
• Utilize the Transition to Success (TTS) framework to guide refugees towards their goals.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to enroll new refugees and provide them with vital resources.
• Conduct assessments and create Employability Plans to facilitate personal, educational, and vocational success.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure quality assurance in all participant interactions.
• Manage ongoing case documentation and report submissions.

What You Bring:

• A passion for empowering individuals and a commitment to social justice.
• An Associate degree and at least two years of relevant experience in social services, case management, or a related field.
• Financial and Employment Planner (FEP) certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing policies and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel.
