Responsibilities

• Assess health: Evaluate residents' health conditions and record their medical histories
• Develop care plans: Create and implement care plans for residents
• Administer treatments: Give medications, injections, and IVs, and prepare treatments
• Monitor vital signs: Check residents' vital signs and monitor for side effects
• Supervise staff: Oversee Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Coordinate care: Work with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
• Manage emergencies: Respond to and manage emergency situations
• Provide specialized care: Provide care for residents with specific health conditions
• Communicate with families: Interact with residents' families and loved ones, and report changes in their health
