SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in managing tax compliance and planning for your clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to provide accurate and timely tax advice to clients.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and communicate changes to clients and team members.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive services to clients.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss tax strategies and financial planning.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within a CPA firm.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in tax software and QuickBooks.
