Responsibilities

• Assist in Reporting and Compliance needs including bank reconciliations, sales and use tax filing, workpaper files, audits, data requests, and other
• Recording of all financial transactions and review of the records
• Support Account Payable department by calculating broker commissions, process and record invoices, run AP reports a, process special checks and other requests
• Support Accounts Receivable by applying rental payments, research and processes charge backs/ tenant disputes/ bad checks; help with tenant account audits and reconciliations
• Additional tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Motivated self-starter with attitude and willingness to help out across the accounting department wherever needed
• Demonstrated organizational skills and use of critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and good time management skills
• Proficient with MS Office including strong excel and data analytics and able to learn new software rapidly
