Job Description



The Steward I is responsible for the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment and tools. They are also responsible for washing dishes, kitchen vessels, cleaning floors and equipment etc.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide the front of house staff with all their service equipment needs.
  • Ensure that all equipment provided to the front of house staff are clean and in compliance with quality standards
  • Support the culinary staff by maintaining their lines with the required dishware for each meal period
  • To support the banquet staff with all their equipment and culinary needs before and during each banquet event.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment managed by the Stewarding department by ensuring the safe usage
  • Transportation of all banquet food requirements to the location of event.
  • Report to Steward Supervisor when any equipment/machinery is damaged, faulty or misused
  • Keep work area clean, tidy and dry at all times

Qualifications



Your experience and skills include:

  • Service oriented with an eye for details
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage (Tagalog/Ilocano)
  • Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Stewarding (Tuberculosis Clearance)
  • Valid Driver’s License

Hourly Rate: $24.77

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
