Systems Software Engineer, GPU Software - 2025 New College Grad (Finance) NVIDIA is seeking a creative and motivated engineer with expertise in systems software to join the GPU Software team. You will design key aspects of our production GPU kernel drivers and embedded software impacting our datacenter and gaming products. What you'll be doing: Design, develop, and verify features for our next-generation GPU driver architecture, collaborating with hardware and software engineers. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in our drivers for both datacenter and gaming markets. Collaborate and communicate effectively with global teams. What we need to see: Pursuing an MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience). Technical experience with complex software and hardware designs. Strong C programming skills and low-level driver experience; experience with system-level debugging. Kernel experience with Linux, Android, Chrome, or Windows. Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessors, and microcontrollers. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience as a maintainer or contributor to large open-source projects. Knowledge of virtualization platforms like XenServer, KVM, or Hyper-V. Understanding of kernel security concepts, testing techniques, static/dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and negative testing.
