We manufacture and sell kitchenware and hydration products for all types of retailers - from national chains all over the world to independent shops in small towns throughout the US. As we continue to expand, our Creative Team is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Technical Copywriter to join us in our New York City office. This role will work closely with Product Development, Industrial Design, Compliance, and Graphic Design teams to ensure accuracy in all technical, legal, and instructional product copy. Responsibilities: Proofread and refine packaging copy, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with brand guidelines. Collaborate with product developers and industrial designers to understand product materials, functionality, and features. Ensure legal copy requirements are met in coordination with the compliance team . Develop and write FAQs, tutorials, and user manuals that explain product features, functionality, and troubleshooting steps. Work closely with compliance to ensure manuals adhere to industry regulations and category standards. Write clear, user-friendly instructional content tailored to different audiences, from beginners to advanced users. Maintain and organize copy libraries using Excel or other documentation tools. Track and update product warnings, legal copy, and compliance-related text. Assist with copy translation processes for packaging, utilizing external software when needed. Ensure brand messaging remains clear and cohesive across packaging, manuals, and e-commerce platforms. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in packaging copywriting, technical writing, or product documentation. Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communications, Journalism, or a related field . Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate complex product details into clear, user-friendly content . Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong eye for detail. Highly organized and deadline-driven , able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working across cross-functional teams (Product Development, Design, Compliance, Marketing). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) ; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus. Ability to translate English to French is a plus.
