Job Description & Requirements+ $500 Travel Reimbursement\n\nThe length is flexible to be from 13 to 26 weeks.\nThe longer it is, the more the pay can increase as costs are also spread out across that time length.\n\nTravelers are expected to be available to work at least 3 holidays out of the 5 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas EVE, New Year's EVE, New Year's Day).\n\n If traveler does not sign in 24 hours , candidate risks loosing the offer to the first candidate that signs. IF " in process status " Please provide applied date and ETA of issue date\n\nIF previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.\n\nWill accept first time travelers,\n\nPATIENT DIAGNOSES:\nCardiovascular disease, Pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, Fresh Open Heart Surgery\n\nSPECIAL PROCEDURES:\nCABG, OHS, AAA, Valvular Repairs\nIABP, Impella, VAD's, Pacemakers, Epicardial Pacer Management\nCRRT/Dialysis\nHemodynamic Monitoring\nBreathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care, Vents\nHigh Frequency Vents, Procedure Sedation\nRSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs\nBlood/BloodProducts Administration\nCardioversion / Defibrillation, Colling/Warming\nObtain 12 Lead EKG\n***SCREEN if no IABP or Recovery of open hearts less 12 hours post-op, need fresh open heart experience -\n\nUnit has unseasoned staff so they need strong travelers\n\nCardiac Surgical experience is REQUIRED\n\n4 days orientation - validated skills for some competencies\n\nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT:\nheath removal\nVasopressors\n\nBalloon - Maquet Datascope preferred\nCVVH/Prismaflex - CRRT preferred\n\nECMO not required for Travelers IMPELLA - without\n\nCVICU experience and open heart experience, as well a device or two (i.e. IABP, PrismFlex, Impella, ECMO, LVAD). preferred\n\nCERTS: ACLS, BCLS, & CRRT Prismaflex all required\nSKILLS: IABP, fresh open heart required\nstaffing ratio- 1:1-2\n\nHOUSING RESOURCES:\n\n
