Build Your Career at Evergreen Roadworks! The Truck Driver reports to the operator/yard crew-leader or Job Foreman to receive daily instructions. The Truck Driver can expect to fill any Truck Drivers position (Support Truck, Tanker Truck, Low Boy, box truck or any truck for which they are qualified). He/she may also be assigned to any other duties that would support the crew and that he/she may be qualified to perform. Essential Functions Transport and drive equipment to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner Assist, load, and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution, assure safety of the cargo, equipment, and limit danger to people Maintain complete and accurate records such as, daily logs, fuel logs, fuel receipts, delivery documentation Obtain shipping documents and necessary signatures and return said documents to appropriate department as required Inspect, monitor all gauges and equipment, provide and document proper routine maintenance of trucks/equipment in accordance with established policies, reporting concerns or problems immediately Operate trucks and equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations and observe all safety regulations established by Evergreen Roadworks and the DMV for the safe operation of commercial vehicles Maintain assigned vehicles and/or equipment to a high standard of cleanliness Assist in training others to operate assigned trucks/equipment Other duties as assigned by the Foreman and/or Supervisor Education Qualifications Required High School or Equivalent is required Skills and Abilities Must demonstrate strong teamwork skills Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written communication) with management, staff and outside entities as well as follow verbal and written instructions in English Ability to read, follow and interpret safety documents, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Safety consciousness Knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures strongly preferred Willingness and ability to travel and work overtime, when needed Must have history of safe driving record Licenses and Certifications Class B CDL is required Required Valid driver's license is required Required Evergreen Roadworks Pay Transparency The anticipated hiring compensation range for this role, dependent upon qualifications and experience is: $37,500 - $75,000 Working Conditions/Physical Demands Must pass a criminal background check, routine physical and drug screen About Evergreen Roadworks Evergreen Roadworks provides a wide-ranging suite of paving solutions and proprietary applications designed to extend roadway life and enable infrastructure investments to go further.
