Warehouse/Distribution Manager We have an immediate need for a Warehouse/Distribution Manager with experience managing the receiving and distribution operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all operations including operational data information. Duties and Responsibilities Previous experience managing a warehouse with strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles and best practices. Responsible for managing inventory, logistics, receiving, packing, and operational data records. Responsible for overseeing site operation with the ability to identify gaps and create plans to fix as needed. Develop and maintain documentation processes while adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Maintain statistical and financial records to include preparing budgets. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided. Excellent communicator with leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce. Keeping health and safety records and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met. Requirements and Skills Required Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is a plus. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager managing warehouse staff, which includes ensuring that the employees are safely working. Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software including Microsoft Office Suite and other data systems. Expertise in Warehouse Management procedures. Experience operating machinery, such as forklifts and pickers, and ensuring it is in working order.
