Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of goods.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock audits.
• Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Oversee warehouse layout and space management to optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting inventory and workflow data.
• Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Implement and improve operational procedures and best practices to enhance productivity.
• Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, supply chain issues, staff performance, and other key metrics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and work in a warehouse environment.

  Education & Experience

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar logistics/supply chain role.
