Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant
Location: Carlsbad, CA


LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team in Carlsbad, CA. This role will start as a temporary position, with a strong potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and document management

  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing paperwork and coordinating orientations

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

  • Support payroll processing by gathering and verifying employee time records

  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR-related events

  • Respond to employee inquiries and assist with benefits administration

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of administrative or HR-related experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours:

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday- Friday

  • 7:00am-4:00pm PST


Details:

  • Located in Carlsbad, San Diego 

  • Contract role with possibility to go permanent

  • Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
